A fun and immersive experience
In the first project, we created a virtual hopscotch using a Kinect sensor and speakers. By programming each step to trigger a different tone, we were able to create a unique musical experience for participants. To encourage collaboration, we tripled the hopscotch and allowed multiple people to play simultaneously. As players hopped along, the musical feedback nicely complicated, creating a fun and immersive experience.

Creates musical patterns
For our second project, we utilized Kinect sensors placed under trees in autumn to capture the falling leaves and create musical patterns. As the leaves fell, the sensors captured their movements and translated them into musical notes, creating a beautiful and interactive soundscape. Participants were able to immerse themselves in the beauty of autumn while also engaging with the technology in a unique and exciting way.
